Diese Frucht hier ist der Chupa-Chupa sehr ähnlich und ebenfalls eine Matisia.
Die original Chupa-Chupa (Matisia cordata) hat immer 2 bis 5 Samen in der Frucht.

Diese wurde zuletzt 1981 in Peru, gegenüber der Ortschaft Tocache Nuevo gefunden.
Und diese Frucht hat immer nur einen Samen in der Frucht.
Sehr süß und saftig aber auch etwas faserig wie bei der Mango.
Für Freaks von großen Blättern ist dieser Baum ein "Haben will" denn er bekommt riesige Blätter von 30 bis 40cm!Bitte bei mindestens 15 Grad überwintern.
