This plant is already over two years old and yet still small.
Plants in the Cerrado region of Brazil grow very slowly in their first few years.
They often lose their leaves during the dry season and then sprout again with the first rains.
This Eugenia was discovered in 2023.
It was initially thought to be Eugenia cristaensis, but the mistake was quickly corrected.
A new, previously unknown Eugenia with a very sweet taste and a pleasant hint of acidity.
The plant grows to approximately 1.5 meters tall and originates from the city of Diamantina in the state of Minas Gerais.
Please avoid waterlogging and provide plenty of light.
Please overwinter at a minimum temperature of 10 degrees Celsius.

Diese Eugenia wurde im Jahr 2023 entdeckt.
Man dachte, dass es sich um Eugenia cristaensis handelt, aber der Irrtum war schnell aufgeklärt.
Eine neue, bisher unbekannte Eugenis mit einem sehr süßen Geschmack und etwas angenehmer Säure.
Die Pflanze wird ca. 1,5m groß und stammt aus der Stadt Diamantina im Bundesstaat Minas Gerais.
