This year, we have three rooted cuttings of our large Jaboticaba "UNESP."
Here is the first cutting.
The Plinia phitrantha UNESP comes from the collection of the Brazilian University UNESP and is a special selection of the Plinia phitrantha.
Our mother plant is already 8 years old and is about to flower.
The cuttings are from this plant and therefore also ready to flower immediately.
Experience has shown that these cuttings will likely flower in the coming years.
Caution!
The cuttings are freshly rooted and potted and must remain in a closed box or bag for a few more weeks.
Only once they have developed several new leaves can they slowly be acclimated to "normal" air.
Please note this, as these cuttings still require high humidity for the time being.
The fruit tastes excellent and is very sweet and juicy.
The tree produces large leaves and is very suitable for container cultivation.
Please overwinter at a minimum of 10 degrees.

Hier ist der erste Steckling.
Die Plinia phitrantha UNESP stammt aus der Sammlung der brasilianischen Universität UNESP und ist eine besondere Auslese der Plinia phitrantha.
Unsere Mutterpflanze ist bereits 8 Jahre alt und steht kurz vor der Blüte.
Die Stecklinge sind von dieser Pflanze und dadurch ebenfalls sofort blühfähig.
Erfahrungsgemäß werden diese Stecklinge in den nächsten Jahren wahrscheinlich blühen.
Achtung!
Die Stecklinge sind frisch bewurzelt und getopft und müssen noch ein paar Wochen in einer geschlossenen Box oder Tüte verweilen.
Erst wenn sie mehrere, neue Blätter bekommen haben können sie langsam an "normale" Luft gewöhnt werden.
Bitte beachtet dies, da diese Stecklinge vorerst noch eine hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit benötigen.
Der Geschmack der Früchte ist ausgezeichnet und sehr süß und saftig.
Der Baum bekommt große Blätter und ist sehr gut für eine Kübelhgaltung geeignet.
Überwintern bitte bei mindestens 10 Grad.
