Here we have a rooted cutting of our large, 8-year-old Plinia aureana 'Branca Costada' –
a special selection of white jaboticaba with particularly sweet, juicy fruits and strikingly large leaves.
Our mother plant is currently just about to flower – and the cuttings offered here come from this very plant.
This makes them true to the variety and ready to flower, with a high probability of bearing fruit in the coming years.

Important for the Care of Young Cuttings
These cuttings are newly rooted and potted. Please note the following:
The plants must be kept in a closed box or plastic bag with high humidity for a few more weeks.
Only after several new leaves have formed can they slowly be acclimated to normal indoor air.
Sudden loss of moisture can severely weaken the plant during this sensitive phase.
Please do not buy if you are impatient or just want to remove the plant from the soil to curiously examine the small, delicate roots.
This will only stress the cutting, which could lead to the loss of the small roots and even death.

Light: Bright, sheltered location (no direct midday sun)
Substrate: Loose, slightly acidic, well-drained
Watering: Keep evenly moist, avoid waterlogging
Fertilization: From spring onwards, apply sparingly with organic fertilizer
Overwintering: At least 10°C, bright and frost-free

Limitierte Rarität: Frisch bewurzelte Stecklinge der Branca Costada
Hier haben wir einen bewurzelten Steckling unserer großen, 8-jährigen Plinia aureana 'Branca Costada' –
eine besondere Selektion der weißen Jaboticaba mit besonders süßen, saftigen Früchten und auffällig großen Blättern.
Unsere Mutterpflanze steht aktuell kurz vor der Blüte – und genau von dieser Pflanze stammen die angebotenen Stecklinge.
Dadurch sind sie sortenecht und direkt blühfähig, mit einer hohen Wahrscheinlichkeit, bereits in den nächsten Jahren zu fruchten.

Wichtig zur Pflege der jungen Stecklinge
Diese Stecklinge sind frisch bewurzelt und getopft. Bitte beachtet daher folgende Hinweise:
Die Pflanzen müssen noch ein paar Wochen in einer geschlossenen Box oder Plastiktüte mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit gehalten werden.
Erst wenn sich mehrere neue Blätter gebildet haben, können sie langsam an normale Raumluft gewöhnt werden.
Plötzlicher Feuchtigkeitsverlust kann die Pflanze in dieser sensiblen Phase stark schwächen.
Bitte nicht kaufen wenn ihr ungeduldig seid oder die Pflanze aus der Erde nehmen möchtet um neugierig die kleinen, zarten Wurzeln zu betrachten.
Damit belastet ihr diesen Steckling nur und das kann zum Verlust der kleinen Wurzeln und Sterben führen.

Licht: Heller, geschützter Standort (keine direkte Mittagssonne)
Substrat: Locker, leicht sauer, gut drainiert
Gießen: Gleichmäßig feucht halten, Staunässe vermeiden
Düngung: Ab Frühjahr sparsam mit organischem Dünger
Überwinterung: Mindestens 10 °C, hell und frostfrei
