The yellow-fruited variety of Myrciaria floribunda is extremely rare and has so far only been found on the Caribbean island of St. John.
There, the delicious fruit is eaten raw and used to refine rum.
The plant's leaves grow larger each year.
The fruits are juicy and very sweet.
Please overwinter at a minimum temperature of 15 degrees Celsius.
Die gelbfruchtige Variante der Myrciaria floribunda ist extrem selten und wurde bisher nur auf der Karibikinsel St. John gefunden.
Dort wird die leckere Frucht roh gegessen und zur Veredlung von Rum verwendet.
Die Pflanze bekommt von Jahr zu Jahr größere Blätter.
Die Früchte sind saftig und sehr süss.
