This plant is already over 3 years old.
It froze back a bit in the winter, so we trimmed it and removed a few brown leaf tips.
It's now growing new leaves everywhere.
This Myrciaria originates from the Caribbean.
There, the delicious fruit is eaten raw and used to refine rum.
The fruits are juicy and very sweet.
Please overwinter at a minimum temperature of 15 degrees Celsius.
