This previously unknown Myrciaria bears the name of the municipality of Nordestina in the Brazilian state of Bahia.
The tree was approximately 4 meters tall and full of fruit.
The fruits have relatively large seeds and are very tasty.
The flavor is reminiscent of Jaboticaba and Myrciaria glazioviana.
The plant grows slowly for the first two years and then significantly faster each year.
Please overwinter this plant at a temperature of at least 10 degrees Celsius.
Diese bisher unbekannte Myrciaria trägt den Namen der Gemeinde Nordestina im brasilianischen Bundesstaat Bahia.
Der Baum war ca. 4m groß und voller Früchte.
Die Früchte haben einen relativ großen Samen und sind sehr schmackhaft.
Der Geschmack erinnert an Jaboticaba und Myrciaria glazioviana.
Die Pflanze wächst in den ersten zwei Jahren langsam und danach jedes Jahr wesentlich schneller.
