Eugenia sp BIG Rugosa Family / Familie: Myrtaceaeorigin from / Herkunft: Brasilien Climate / Klima: temperate to warm (10-25C / 50-77F) / gemäßigt bis warm (10-25C / 50-77F)Taste / Geschmack: good taste / guter Geschmackyou buy / sie kaufen: 1 fresh seed  / 1 frischer Samen Delivery EU only This is another Eugenia with huge fruits that was discovered a few years ago in the UNA Biological Reserve in Bahia and is one of the "BIG".The UNA Biological Reserve is larger than Liechtenstein and about the same size as the Caribbean island of Aruba.To preserve the flora and fauna there, the area can only be visited by appointment and with a guide.The tree has beautiful, large leaves and the fruits are yellow-green when fully ripe.The flesh is sweet and reminiscent of guava without any astringency.We are pleased to be able to offer a few fresh seeds for enthusiasts this year.The seeds have a hard shell and can take a long time to germinate.Please overwinter this rare Eugenia at at least 10 degrees.Das ist eine weitere Eugenia mit riesigen Früchten die vor wenigen Jahren im UNA Biological Reservat in Bahia entdeckt wurde und zu den "BIG" gehört.Das UNA Biological Reservat ist größer als Liechtenstein und ungefähr genauso groß wie die Karibikinsel Aruba.Zum Erhalt der dortigen Flora und Fauna ist das Gebiet nur unter Anmeldung und Führung zu besichtigen. Der Baum bekommt wunderschöne, große Blätter und die Früchte sind gelbgrün wenn sie vollreif sind.Das Fruchtfleisch ist süß und erinnert an Guave ohne jegliche Adstringens.Wir freuen uns in diesem Jahr ein paar frische Samen für Liebhaber anbieten zu können.Die Samen sind hartschalig und können eine längere Zeit zum keimen benötigen.Bitte diese seltene Eugenia bei mindestens 10 Grad überwintern.
