The Cabeludinha is a fairly easy species to grow.
As with all Myrciaria species, the new leaves typically hang downwards like a stork's beak.
The leaves are a juicy green and slightly hairy.
This tree comes from Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais in Brazil and grows to around 3m tall.
Of course, it can be trimmed and kept smaller without any problems.
The yellow fruits are very tasty and reminiscent of apricots with an exotic touch.
They are approximately 2.5cm in diameter.
We have already eaten these fruits ourselves and can confirm this.
This plant is self-fertile and produces fruit on its own.
Adult specimens suffer frost damage from -6 degrees.
This means that although this plant can tolerate short-term frost, it is better to overwinter at at least 10 degrees.
Die Cabeludinha ist eine ziemlich einfach zu ziehende Art.
Wie bei allen Myrciaria Arten hängen die neuen Blätter wie ein Storchenschnabel typisch nach unten.
Die Blätter haben ein saftiges grün und sind leicht behaart.
Dieser Baum stammt aus Rio de Janeiro und Minas Gerais in Brasilien und wird ca. 3m groß.
Selbstverständlich kann er ohne Probleme beschnitten und kleiner gehalten werden.
Die gelben Früchte sind sehr schmackhaft und erinnern an Aprikose mit Exotik.
Sie sind ca 2,5cm im Durchmesser.
Wir haben diese Früchte bereits selbst gegessen und können das bestätigen.
Diese Pflanze ist selbstfertil und fruchtet allein.
Ausgewachsene Exemplare erleiden Frostschäden ab -6 Grad.
Das bedeutet, dass diese Pflanze zwar kurzfristig Frost verträgt aber dennoch besser bei mindestens 10 Grad überwintert werden sollte.
