It is also rarely found in Colombia, Bolivia, and Mexico.
The tree remains small and grows to approximately 2 to 3 meters tall.
The fruits of this guava can be eaten fresh or processed into juice, jam, or ice cream.
The fruit tastes sweet and sour and is aromatic.
This Psidium is ideal for growing in containers.
Grow in partial shade during the first year and avoid waterlogging.
Please overwinter frost-free at a minimum temperature of 15°C.
