This Eugenia is almost extinct and very difficult to obtain.
Our plant is grown from seeds that come from fruits of a tree from the Mata Atlantica in Bahia.
There are hardly any photos or information about this great rarity.
Like Eugenia trichogyna, the fruits of this Eugenia first turn yellow and then black when fully ripe.
Not much is known about the taste of these fruits except that they are sweet.
The new growth of this plant is beautifully red.
Please overwinter at at least 10 degrees.

Unsere Pflanze ist aus Samen gezogen die von Früchten eines Baumes aus dem Mata Atlantica in Bahia stammen.
Es gibt kaum Fotos und Informationen zu dieser tollen Rarität.
Die Früchte dieser Eugenia werden wie bei der Eugenia trichogyna erst gelb und dann vollreif schwarz.
Über den Geschmack dieser Früchte ist nicht viel bekannt, außer das sie süß und angenehm schmecken.
Der Neuaustrieb dieser Pflanze ist wunderschön rot.
Überwintern bitte bei mindestens 10 Grad.
