This unknown Solanum was found in the Mata Escura Nature Reserve in Brazil.
It covers approximately 500 square kilometers and protects the remaining Atlantic Rainforest of Minas Gerais.
he reserve is classified as an IUCN Category 1a protected area, meaning it is one of the "strict" nature reserves.
This particular Solanum has not yet been identified.
Inside, it resembles a passion fruit and has sweet and sour pulp.
