Pre-order - delivery of these plants will take place in early August.
We will receive the freshly grafted cuttings in about two weeks and will allow them another four weeks in our facility to develop a strong root system and pot them.
The Chiang Mai 60 mulberry (Morus alba 'Chiang Mai 60') is widely and rightfully considered by experts worldwide to be one of the best and highest-yielding mulberry varieties in existence.
Originally selected in Thailand, this variety impresses with an almost endless abundance of large, elongated berries that ripen from juicy red to deep black.
In terms of flavor, it offers the perfect balance: an intense, honey-like sweetness combined with a wonderfully refreshing, subtle fruit acidity – a true dream for fresh eating.
Our plants are true-to-type, directly rooted cuttings taken from mature, heavily fruiting mother plants.
This eliminates the need for an additional graft union, allowing the plants to naturally possess immense vigor, outstanding vitality, and to enter the fruiting stage immediately.
Thanks to the robust genetics of Morus alba, this variety also exhibits excellent frost hardiness down to minus 15 degrees Celsius (5 degrees Fahrenheit) and is highly resilient.
Shipping takes place in a deep pot measuring 9x9x14 cm with a capacity of approximately 0,9 liters.
The vigorous cutting has a length of about 15 centimeters and a diameter of approximately one centimeter.
We only ship the plants once their own root system has stably established itself in the soil and the plant has freshly, vitally, and vigorously sprouted.
