We will receive the freshly grafted cuttings in about two weeks and will allow them another four weeks in our facility to develop a strong root system and pot them.
The Australian Black black mulberry (Morus nigra 'Australian Black'), also widely known among experts as "Dwarf Istanbuls", is an absolute rarity for any home garden.
The unique feature of this selection is directly reflected in its alternative name: while standard black mulberries grow into massive trees, this "Dwarf" version is characterized by a naturally compact, almost bushy growth habit.
This makes the variety fantastic for cultivation in smaller gardens or even as a long-lived, highly productive potted plant on the patio.
The fruits are remarkably thick, large, and ripen from a vibrant red to a glossy, deep black.

Thanks to this robust grafting, the plants grow significantly faster, are highly resilient, and easily withstand temperatures down to minus 15 degrees Celsius (5 degrees Fahrenheit) due to their hardy Morus nigra genetics.
Shipping takes place in a deep pot measuring 9x9x14 cm with a capacity of approximately 0,9 liters.
The vigorous rootstock cutting has a length of about 15 centimeters and a diameter of approximately one centimeter.
The grafted scion on top features a length of around 7 centimeters.
We only ship the plants once the root system has stably established itself in the soil and the scion has freshly and vitally sprouted.

Das kräftige Unterlagen-Steckholz besitzt eine Länge von circa 15 Zentimetern sowie einen Durchmesser von etwa einem Zentimeter.
Darauf befindet sich der aufgepfropfte Edelreiser mit einer Länge von circa 7 Zentimetern.
Wir versenden die Pflanzen erst dann, wenn das Wurzelsystem die Erde stabil durchzogen hat und der Edelreiser frisch und vital ausgetrieben ist.
