This Myrciaria was discovered in the Mata Atlantica of Bahia in Brazil.
The fruits have a beautiful, orange color and are 2 to 2.5cm in diameter.
The pulp is very juicy and has a wonderful taste.
The taste is said to be reminiscent of Jaboticaba with apricot.
We recommend growing the plant in partial shade in the first year and avoiding waterlogging.
Please overwinter this plant at a minimum of 15 degrees Celsius.
