This Pouteria was discovered in the Amazon region of the Brazilian state of Rondônia, on the border with Bolivia.
The fruit segments are arranged in a circle, similar to a Diospyros.
The flesh around the seed is incredibly sweet.
Please overwinter this plant at a minimum temperature of 15 degrees Celsius.
